How to Import Ledger Master from Excel to Tally

1. Prepare for Excel

Excel files should be prepared using the recommended Excel formats for teachers.

Ensure that all required columns for teachers are included in your Excel files.

Make sure the Excel document is named “Ledger”.

Save the Excel document using the approved Excel file types and consider Including the name of the sheet and the file type.

2. Open Excel and check the masters.

Use Tally ODBC to connect Fast In Flow — Excel to Tally

Choose the “Ledger” form from the “Master” menu.

Select the prepared Excel file by clicking the “Load Excel” button (at the bottom of the screen).

Then, after loading Excel, use the verification and analysis techniques to trace the existing master and more before import.

3. Add to Tally

Now add all or a selection of coupons to the account.

Now click the “Upload to Tally” button, to immediately upload the information to Tally (use the checkbox on the left side of the data grid).

4. Check the import status

For information about imported records, see Import Process, Logging, and Reporting.

Users should review and confirm the balance when the upload is complete.
