Summer vacation in Malta. Here are my recommendations.

I travelled to Malta during my summer vacation in July for 10 days. I had never been to Malta before and did not know much about the country. The reason for choosing Malta for vacation was because of:

☀️ There are on average 300 sunny days on Malta. Me and my boyfriend really needed sunny days after no travel for almost two years (we live in Denmark).

✅ Most part of the population has been vaccinated for COVID and travelling to Malta from Denmark did not require quarantine. We had to fill a registration form to entry the country and show a negative PCR test (July 2021).

We did a little bit of research before we travelled (google: what to do in Malta). My boyfriend also had a list of places to go to from a friend of a friend. During our visit, we spent most of our time in the areas around Valletta (the capital). We spent one day in Gozo, the second largest island in Malta, where we signed up for a sightseeing Tuktuk tour around the island. I highly recommend travelling to Gozo — however the following recommendation will focus on the area close to Valletta. Here are some recommendations if you plan to travel to Malta.

These are the top three recommendations to do in Malta. It was great travelling again, especially to a new country that I have not been to before. I definitely recommend travelling to Malta and enjoy what the sunny island has to offer.
