In Service To The Temple
The Temple and the Church building are not one and the same.
Our jobs as Christian Men is to seek and educate the lost so that the Lord may save their soul. If we cannot prove the worth of our own soul through scripture we cannot and will not take the message to others.
So this should really blow your hair back.
“ For the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are” 1 Corinthians 3:17
We are Holy! We are the temple. So then what is the logic?
If I pick up a pen or a salt shaker are they holy? They are!Those items are now in service to the temple, and if you look at the example of the temple in the old testament you will find that anything in service to the temple was indeed holy.
This should excite you! This should make you rejoice!
So why do so many men run from it within the church?
Because we have a tendency to tell God what our worth is rather then believing what He has already told us our worth is.
Because that would be work, and God forbid we should have any skin in the game.
When must a person sin? At what time frame does sin become inevitable? At what point is the temple not Holy? Sin is a choice. A choice that every Christian must make every second, minute, hour and day. A decision every christian must make to keep the temple Holy.
We are Men! We are Holy!We must set the example for those around us and the those to come. We must spread the news of the gospel by our lives that others should seek that info from us.
We already belong to the winning side. So dont be afraid to act like a victor!
