Importance of the Mentor to be successful

First of all, what is a mentor?

A mentor is someone who guides who towards the right path, the path which is right for you. He guides and teaches you that somethings which may be good for others may not be good for yourself. He gives you motivation if you face failure in your life and supports you through difficult times. On the other hand, he praises you on your success and becomes happier than you on your success.

From the picture, it is clear that everyone in this world has a lot of ideas in his/her mind. But to shape these ideas into something useful and to be more productive is the role of the mentor.

Our Holy Prophet (S.A.W) was also sent to the Earth for the mentorship of mankind. Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) said, “I am sent to Earth as a Mentor”. To be a mentor is the highest honor a person can get.

I have had many mentors in my life. Other than my parents who were my early mentors and are still mentoring me, the mentors who changed my life are my grandfather (Nana Abu (May his soul rest in peace)) and my uncle (Taya Abu). One taught me to work hard with strong determination and the other one taught me how to select from given opportunities and which field goes with my nature and why I should go to a specific field.

I am where I am because of my mentors and my teachers.
