Also, giant tech firms such as Amazon, Microsoft, and Expedia have locations in the city, making it a prime destination for coders and software developers.

The more popular part-time, flexible full stack web development course runs from Monday to Friday, 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and again on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

This part-time 24-week course also requires students to set aside an additional 20 hours each week for take-home assignments, though many students complete the work in less time. The popular part-time program makes it possible for students to attend college or work during the day, while still reserving enough time for coding bootcamp on evenings and weekends. Many students successfully juggle work, school, and coding bootcamp, so don’t let a busy schedule deter you from signing up.

This is a full stack web development coding bootcamp, and they don’t call it ‘bootcamp’ for nothing-the coursework is dense, and the curriculum is intense. Students need to learn many coding languages, including staple languages for web development such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Also, there’s plenty of other coding languages and tools to learn, such as React.js, jQuery, Node.js, Heroku, Git, Responsive Design, User Authentication, MySQL, MongoDB, and more. The curriculum at the University of Washington’s coding bootcamp is dense, but students graduate with all the skills they need to land an entry-level position at a tech company.

Reddit is a great place for first-hand, honest opinions on a lot of subjects, but it’s important to take it with a grain of salt. Coding bootcamps are a popular subject on the forum, and opinions vary widely. There isn’t much information from former students about the University of Washington’s coding bootcamp at this time, but that may change. If you’re interested in what Redditors have to say about this program, be sure to check back and search around for new information. Most people on Reddit respond with curiosity, and many others comment on their positive career experiences after attending coding bootcamp. Based on this program’s reviews on Course Report, we have little reason to doubt it’ll get some positive attention on Reddit eventually.

Job placement is a big selling point for coding bootcamps, as few other education programs offer such a quick route into a fun, satisfying, and high-paying career. As a result, it makes sense to ask questions about job placement. In general, university coding bootcamps don’t publish job placement statistics-at least at this time.

However, that doesn’t mean we have to be completely in the dark-most coding bootcamps report placement rates between 70% and 90%. This particular program also offers helpful career advisors, which students benefit from greatly. Based on student reviews, we have no reason to doubt the University of Washington’s coding bootcamp will contribute to numerous great careers in tech.
